    Antología de los 'Poemas dispersos'
    (2019) Gozzano, Guido
    Guido Gozzano (Turin, 1883 - 1916) is considered one of the greatest exponents of the Italian twilight poetic movement. Due to his premature, he only published two collections of poems in life, both of vital importance in the context of early-century Italian poetry, La via del rifugio (1907) and I colloqui. Liriche (1911). The texts written after his trip to India stand out and published posthumously in 1912 with the title Verso la cuna del mondo. Lettere dal India. His work has to be understood in the context of the crisis that arose after the stagnation of the decadent aestheticist and classicist literature of Gabriele D'Annunzio and Giovanni Pascoli, to whom he oppose a poetry full of tender irony turned to the recreation of bourgeois interiors full of "buone cose di pessimo gusto" in the line of the intimate and impressionist French models.

    Soliloquio de las cosa y otros poemas
    (2019) Corazzini, Sergio
    Sergio Corazzini (Rome, 1886 - 1907) is considered one of the greatest exponents of the Crepuscular Roman cenacle. His incipient career is based so much on the solid relations of friendship that he established in the sessions of the famous Caffè Sartoris (usual meeting place of, among others, Fausto Maria Martini, Giulio Cesare Santini, Antonello Caprino, Tito Marrone, Enrico Brizzi, Armando De Santis, Rosario Altomonte or Corrado Govoni) as in his varied readings (from Carducci, Pascoli and D'Annunzio, to Francis Jammes, Maurice Maeterlinck or Jules Laforgue). Despite the sudden appearance of tuberculosis in 1902, his literary activity never ceased, publishing in a few years some of the most celebrated poems of his generation, such as Dolcezze (1904), L'amaro calice (1905), Le aureole (1906), Piccolo libro inutile (1906), Elegia (1906) or Libro per la sera della domenica. In 1906, Corazzini, due to the worsening of the disease, entered a sanitarium, which he left in 1907 to die months later.

    El saludo a los poetas crepusculares

    Angelo "Nino" Oxilia (Turin, 1889 - Monte Tomba, 1917) was a poet, playwright and film director. After passing through the Faculty of Letters of the University of Turin, where he only attended the first two years, he focused on journalism, collaborating since 1907, among others, in the Gazzetta di Torino and later in Il momento. In 1909 he published his first collection of poems, Canti brevi, and began to be interested in cinema, a facet in which his collaborations with Sandro Camasio, with titles such as La zingara, Addio giovinezza! or Cose dell'altro mondo. When the Great War broke out, he left voluntarily, playing a notable  role as a documentary filmmaker. He insisted and reached the front line as an artillery lieutenant, finding death at age 28. In 1918 the collection of poems Gli orti was published posthumously. Every November 18, the tombstone placed in his memory on Garibaldi Street in Turin is adorned with flowers and washed with white wine by students of the University.

    Almas (fragmento de 'Le vergini folli')
    (2019) Guglielminetti, Amalia
    Amalia Guglielminetti was born in Turin in 1881. He had a religious school education, conditioned by the presence of his grandfather, who assumed the role of pater familias after the death of Amalia's father. His first book of poems was published in 1901, but it was considered too childish and simple. With the second, however, Le vergini folli (of which we have translated the first section, dedicated to souls), he achieved success and his verses, well structured and of great technical perfection, earned him the praise of her teacher, Arturo Graf, of the critic Dino Mantovani and of the poet Guido Gozzano, especially because of their spontaneity. However, she considered that she had barely touched the essence of art and considered that she should continue working to reach that state. Amalia Guglielminetti was a very prolific writer who dedicated herself not only to poetry, but also to theater (both comedy and tragedy) and narrative. After an attempt to become a journalist in Rome, he returned to Turin, where he died in 1941 because of an injury done when he was going down to an air raid shelter.

    Presentación del dossier. En recuerdo del profesor Joaquín Espinosa Carbonell

    La presente edición de la revista Zibaldone. Estudios Italianos (Vol. VII, Issue 1-2, noviembre 2019) es en muchos aspectos un número muy diferente a los doce publicados desde que arrancó nuestro proyecto en enero de 2013. La primera razón es consecuencia directa de la concesión el pasado mes de abril del Premio Nazionale per la Traduzione a la Asociación Cultural Zibaldone por parte del Ministerio de Cultura Italiano. La segunda deriva, por el contrario, del tema mismo elegido para el dossier: la poesía crepuscular italiana. Y es que, para muchos estudiantes de las distintas promociones de italiano de la Facultad de Filología de Valencia, los poetas crepusculares y todo su universo íntimo repleto de piccole cose di pessimo gusto,quedaron hace tiempo indisolublemente ligados al magisterio del profesor Joaquín Espinosa Carbonell (1942-2016). Queremos dedicar este pequeño dossier a su recuerdo.

    Los sonetos de la casa y otros poemas
    (2019) Vallini, Carlo
    Carlo Vallini (Milan, 1885 - 1920) devoted himself early to poetry after getting in touch in Turin with Guido Gozzano, with whom he established a large epistolary correspondence. In 1907 he published two collections of poems, Un giorno and La renunzia, in which he distinguished himself by a remarkable expressive sensibility in poems of muted and melancholic tones typical of the crepuscular school. In 1909 he graduated in Bologna, becoming a teacher in different Italian cities. These are years of intense treatral activity, with successful works such as Radda. Dramma lirico in un atto. The intense poetic and theatrical activity had to be cornered, as in the rest of his generation, after being called up in 1916. In 1920, his prose translation of the poem The Prison of the Ballad of Reading by Oscar Wilde was published months before his death because of a stroke.

    (2019) Martini, Fausto Maria
    Fausto Maria Martini was born on April 14, 1886 in Rome, the city where he died in 1930. His work as a poet, critic and playwright began with the publication of the poetic collection Le piccole morte (1903), a book that meant his incorporation to the goup of the Italian crepuscularism. Within the parameters of the movement he published two other collections of poems Panem nostrum (1907) and Poesie provinciali (1910). After the death of his friend Sergio Corazzini in 1907, he made a trip to America, an experience that would be the bse on which Si sbarca a New York (1930).

    Notas sobre la "Tabes literaria" y la configuración textual de la ironía en la poética de Guido Gozzano

    The article analyses the importance in Gozzano's first work of the theoretical disassembly of Gabriele D'Annunzio's aestheticism. In fact, once Gozzano discovered the impossibility of the autonomy of aesthetics for the literature of his time, and aware of the difficulty of overcoming D'Annunzio's work, he placed at the centre of the interests of his artistic creation what he called "Literary Tabes", which associated to D'Annunzio's aestheticism, a source of "toxicity" and "falsehood". Irony as a device will serve in Gozzano's mature work will be used to combat the falseness of literature, and will give poetry the only possible space in a world that denies any art that is not useful and false.

    Fonosimbolismo, tra suono e senso nella Digitale purpurea di Giovanni Pascoli Marcella Di Franco Italia   RESUMEN: La produzione poetica di Giovanni Pascoli è senz?altro ascrivibile alle manifestazioni più tipiche della temperie letteraria decadente di respiro europeo, spesso declinata in una raffinata prosa poetica dal carattere simbolico e sottilmente inquietante. È quanto accade in Digitale purpurea la cui l?atmosfera ambivalente, ipnotica e visionaria, risulta sospesa tra sogno e realtà, onirismo e recupero memoriale. Il tessuto poetico pascoliano è amplificato nelle sue risonanze dalle frequenti anafore, onomatopee o dalle numerose sospensioni del vago e dell?indefinito,  fondandosi su una trama complessa di impressioni, segmenti discontinui, sintagmi autonomi e giustapposti. L?originalità è concentrata nel dato fonico, più che in quello logico, rivelando la sua ipersensibilità che lega suono e significato, secondo rapporti alogici e irrazionali che evidenziano qualcosa di ossessivo ed oscuro. Alla ?sanità? classica del mondo classico antico e di quello umanistico - rinascimentale, con la sua visione limpida e armonica del reale, Pascoli contrappone la ?malattia? dell?età moderna, incomprensibile e sfuggente, una visione del reale non più stabile e definita, ma ormai priva dei saldi valori della tradizione, propri dell?ultimo scorcio dell?Ottocento e dello schiudersi di un Novecento ancora incerto e ?nebuloso?.   Parole chiave: Giovanni Pascoli; fonosimbolismo; suono e senso; onirismo; visionarietà.     The poetic production of Giovanni Pascoli is undoubtedly attributable to the most typical manifestations of decadent literary climate of European breadth, often declined in a refined poetic prose with a symbolic and subtly disturbing character. This is what happens in Digital purpurea whose ambivalent, hypnotic and visionary atmosphere is suspended between dream and reality, onirism and memorial recovery. The poetic fabric is continuously crushed by internal pauses, short sentences, elliptic of the verb, with strong signs of punctuation. The pascolian language is amplified in its resonances by frequent repetitions, onomatopoeae or by the numerous suspensions of vague and undefined, is based on a complex plot of impressions, fragments, discontinuous segments, phrases autonomous and juxtapapposed. The originality consists in its being completely dragged by the phonic data, rather than the logical one, to an extent far superior to its contemporaries revealing its hypersensitivity that binds sound and meaning, according to halogen, irrational reports that highlight something obsessive and obscure. To the classical ?health? of the ancient classical world and of the Humanism and Renaissance, with its clear and harmonic vision of the real, Pascoli contrasts the ?illness? of the modern age, incomprehensible and elusive, a vision of the real not more stable and defined , but now deprived of the strong values of tradition, the last glimpse of the Nineteenth century and the opening of a Twentieth century still uncertain and ?nebulous?.     En el siglo dos mil trescientos. Una breve antología

    Carlo Chiaves (Turín, 1882 - 1919) nació en el seno de una de las familias de mayor renombre de la Turín de fin de siglo (su padre fue senador, diputado y ministro del Reino de Italia). Carlo se graduó en derecho, aunque nunca llegó a ejercer, ya que se volcó muy pronto en su labor como periodista. Amigo de los poetas Guido Gozzano y Amalia Guglielminetti, en 1910 publicó una primera colección de poemas, Sogno e ironía, que gozó del beneplácito del crítico literario Giuseppe Antonio Borgese, a quien se debe el haber acuñado el término de "crepuscularismo" para definir la poesía del grupo.

    Si affronta la figura di Tito Marrone, un poeta solo apparentemente "minore" aderente al crepuscolarismo romano, rintracciando le sue relazioni con i maggiori autori coevi, da Corazzini a Pirandello, passando per Rosso di San Secondo. Quella di Marrone è una poetica singolare e originale che riesce a cogliere i cambiamenti di contenuti e stile del suo tempo, oltre a mostrare una particolare sensibilità nelle recensioni teatrali.

    Guilio Gianelli (Turin, 1879 - Rome, 1914) lived a childhood marked by the disappearance of his father and the death of his mother, so he trained in a boarding school, following the itinerary of classical languages. Despite not being able to pay for further studies, he attended Arturo Graf's classes, where he came into contact with other crepuscular poets. However, Guido distances himself from this group, because he felt restlessness for childhood, to which he dedicated part of his work and his time. After having collaborated with some literary magazines in Turin, he moved to Rome, where he worked on a peasant literacy project, but his mercy also took him to Messina that same year, to help the victims of the earthquake that had ravaged the area. There he meets two orphaned children who will take care of the rest of his life. From that moment and until his death, in 1914, he published short stories in the newspaper Buon Augurio, but perhaps his most famous work is the Storia di Pipino nato vecchio e morto bambino, although at the time it did?t get much success.

    Tito Marrone, pseudonym of Sebastiano Amedeo Marrone (Trapani 1882 - Rome 1967) publishes Cesellature in 1899, when he was seventeen years old. Three later his family emigrates to Rome and the young Tito frequents literary coffees and magazines of the moment: he becomes part of the prolific twilight Cenacle of the Primo Novecento. In 1904 he published Liriche and devoted to theatrical activity; then Maria Valle arrives in her life, love of a sad epilogue. The young woman, like so many of her time, dies affected by tuberculosis in 1909. Moved by the tragedy and disenchanted by the minimum scope of her poetry, he decided to stop writing crepuscular poetry.
