    (2019) Arcoba Alpuente, Dolores
This article presents an artistic experience in ten secondary schools of L'Horta Nord and Camp de Morvedre (València) on the processes of construction of personal identities through contemporary artistic attitudes, in this case, through video art. Using the Arts Based Educational Research (Arts Based Educational Research), the completion and subsequent interpretative analysis of all the videographic productions based on the traditional self-portrait have been completed, therefore, they have shaped very interesting results that lead us to reflect on the use and development of these new contemporary genres within the area of artistic education of educational centers. Within this investigation the creation of the new audiovisual narratives as artistic language in the school environment encompasses great relevance. We consider the use of video as a vehicle for the creation of images that at the same time works as an essential work tool for reflection, inquiry and analysis. It is also constituted as a procedure to question and criticize the systematic image. Keywords: audiovisual narrative, self-portrait, identity, artistic education, secondary education.

We present two preliminary inquiries on cinema and Art Education. First, a case study of a child on ?children's spontaneous video? (VEI) in a family context in Granada (Spain), which answers the question: What videos does childhood produce spontaneously? As an initial conclusion from this non-participating longitudinal observation five phases can be indicated: (a) autonomous exploration of the recording apparatus; (b) acting in front of the fixed camera; (c) the camera follows the action, recording at the same time as doing anything; (d) direct imitation of its preferred 'youtubers'; and (e) imitation of predominant adult video narratives. The second is a 'Participatory Action Research' on the teaching of cinema, in school. The context is a project of educational cooperation in Art Education that we have been developing in three schools of the NGO ?Association Collaboration and Effort? (ACOES) in Tegucigalpa. The four actions are: watching complete films, training of projection technicians among the secondary school students, making animated films in small groups inspired in N. MacLaren, and teacher training on classic works of Spanish and Honduran cinema. The main conclusion is that watching and making videos is part of the process of acculturation in contemporary societies, so it is necessary to know the spontaneous modes of perception and video creation at school ages in order to improve the learning objectives of screen education. Keywords: spontaneous children's video, making animated video in school, art education, Spanish and Honduran cinema.

Training in the management of audiovisual languages should be basic as part of the individual's literacy in general education in contemporary societies due to the pre-eminence of these in today's world. In fact, to get competency in using symbolic systems of one's own cultural is central to the education of individuals and communities. Thus, since the implementation of the last educational legislation in Spain, audiovisual language is content in primary education, where it appears as part of the artistic education program. In spite of this inclusion as content, it is not taught effectively in the schools basically because there are no teaching hours for it. Due to this circumstance, learning occurs spontaneously and autonomously informally. Audiovisuals integrate several artistic languages with specific grammars conceived as a whole. From this perspective are unitary cultural products, whose study should be focused as such. For this, it is interesting to resort to the multimodal analysis that has emerged as a form of knowledge and analysis in contexts of multiple simultaneous narratives. This article reflects on this situation and presents some innovative audiovisual training experiences for the period from six to twelve years. In this period the acquisition of literacy in the languages of contemporary society takes place. Keywords: Audiovisual education, primary education, innovative programs, art education, multimodal analysis.

Responding to the need to approach and get to know the educational qualities of Contemporary Art as a possible generator of knowledge, using the the museum as a reference source, a methodology among equals is presented that develops an artistic practice applicable to the classroom of the University Degree of Primary Education. The students design a practice outside the normative space of the classroom of the Faculty of Education of Bilbao UPV/EHU, and execute it in the framework of a subject related to art education taught in the degree. The teaching methodology, where the figure of the university teacher takes a back seat and the students are responsible for executing and making their artistic project public by exchanging the teaching-learning roles with the classmates in the classroom. The results demonstrate the potential of the use of collections of contemporary museums as true tools in the search for references, as well as the potential for visibility of the experiences implemented by the students out of the normative classroom. Finally, the emphasis is placed on the potential of the pedagogical relationships generated during the design and implementation process of the proposal. The conclusions show the need to continue working in this line, where Contemporary Art proposals reflected among equals, claim its potential constructing meanings and empowers future teachers to generate a reflective discourse of their own. Key Words: teacher education, art education, contemporary art, museums, educational space.

    (2019) Besa, Eneko
This paper is based on a report of the subject of Interior Design Projects Development in the second-year course at IDarte. Each exercise of the course is summarized by an image. The image is accompanied by a brief report including the approach, the conceptual support, the historical and philosophical references, as well as the pedagogical orientation and the strategy of the exercise within the whole course. The originality of this pedagogical method is based on offering the maximum freedom to the student in terms of personal creativity, while always working within a framework and within defined limits for each exercise. This framework is designed in such a way that, in itself, it offers a complete methodological palette through which students assimilate the content of a subject such as Interior Design Projects that is so difficult to define and specify. Hence the value of the framework of this paper, since it already constitutes what could be defined as ?the design of the design?. The conclusion represents a tapestry which interweaves all the exercises and offers a multi-methodological palette. The exercises are justified not only by the mutual difference by which they are compared, but mainly by the substantial methodological originality which characterizes each exercise so that it forms a ?network? along with the rest. Thus, the framework of the course is built. Keywords: pedagogy, subject, interior, design, projects, methodology.

Museos y género : una asignatura pendiente
    (2019) Torregrosa, Marta

Abstract. This article presents a pedagogical and research proposal in Performing Arts university studies based on theoretical analysis, and on physical, intellectual and emotional experience of scenic creative processes. Throughout it, we will see how the difficulty of Performing Arts studies to integrate into the scientific field and into the Academy can be used to build new educational and creative paths, taking into account the specificity of Theater, alive and ephemeral by nature. We will go through the path of Arts-Based Research, A / r / tography (branch of ABR) and previous experiences of Theater-Based Research. We will combine an organic and holistic vision based on the idea of art as an embodied experience, and the approach to research as a work in permanent process. As for the aesthetic, a transversal perception of theatre will prevail within the framework of the so-called ?expanded theatricalities? linked to the concept of ?performative?. In a second phase, we will link this theory with the description and analysis of practical cases carried out in the Degree of Performing Arts of the University of Girona (EU ERAM), to try to assess the effectiveness of the proposal, in addition to seeking to settle valid parameters for evaluation. Keywords: Performing Arts university studies, Art-based Research, embodied experience, A/r/tography, performative

    (2019) Castillejo Higueras, Mar
The following article presents "Rethinking the boulevard", an intervention initiative as a vertical garden built in a collaborative way between residents of the neighbourhood, students of the Master's Degree in Artistic Education in Social and Cultural Institutions of the Complutense University of Madrid, and professionals from the Municipal Centre for Community Health (CMSc) of Puente de Vallecas, for the main facade of this centre. The objective is to turn the space adjacent to the CMSc, which is characterized by its diverse problems (cleanliness, problems of coexistence, stigmatization, etc.) into a healthy meeting point through care and participation. This intervention has been developed in different phases (from November 2017 to June 2018) in which a promoting group is formed that together with the community is building and rethinking this space through activities carried out in community events. In this way, we have resorted to collaborative art methodologies to design a creative proposal that would allow us to achieve an objective related to health promotion. It can be concluded that the maintenance of the garden through the care of neighbors and professionals of the CMSc, shows that this type of initiative can be useful to involve the community in the creation and rethinking of spaces in healthier places. Keywords: collaborative artistic practices, community health, environment, participation, care, neighborhood gardening.

    (2019) Tirado, Ana
This work addresses the exhibition of art in the key of transfer of artistic knowledge. The hypothesis refers to whether a scientific character is possible for the art exhibition, where the main purpose is to know how this transfer would be articulated in an art exhibition. For this, a method of comparative study of cases is adopted, with a sample of two international cases of art exhibition, in which a qualitative analysis of contents of the exhibition is carried out, according to the variable of the internal information devices in the room and the contents of these. The cases of the sample are: the exhibition Itinerarios del vertigo by Sandra Silva, at the Art Museum of Pereira, in Pereira (Colombia), in 2015, and the exhibition of Concrete Invention.Collection of Patricia Phelps de Cisneros, at the National Museum Center of Art "Reina Sofía", in Madrid (Spain), in 2013. In the results, three different types of content are found (artistic criticism, research methodology and primary sources), according to a total of six internal information devices in room. The conclusions provide contributions for two types of transfer of artistic knowledge in art exhibition, according to the transfer of the artistic project and the transfer of the historical-artistic context. Keywords: art, museology, exhibition, transfer of knowledge, art research.

This article proposes a reflection on the gaze and the visual as constituents and constructors of cultural reality. A study articulated through the cultural analysis of ideas and key concepts as a method of reflection. The construction of reality has always been a political fact directed by the factual powers, but when the potential of audiovisual and digital creation to generate possible worlds comes into play since the last century, the situation has mutated towards a context where the creation and colonization of visual (and therefore real) worlds is a priority for political strategies. Such a cultural phenomenon is proposed as an eminently ideological fact: the gaze takes on special relevance in a cosmos mediated by the image, the audiovisual, the digital, through its devices. The gaze (on the world), more than ever, is a political fact; the production of images generated through multiple devices stands as the main act in the construction of the personal and collective gaze. The construction of images depends on that (ideological) machinery of devices and instruments arranged for their configuration, the politics of image generation and the usability of such devices, as well as the iconic production itself. The gaze and its construction maintain profound pedagogical implications, where the moving image becomes a powerful instrument of educational and, by extension, social transformation. Keywords: gaze, cinema, audiovisuals, ideology, cultural hegemony, visual education.

The new digital scenario generates challenges that encourage us to reflect on the possibilities of Artistic Education in a historical moment in which we combine conventional educational moments with new online trends. Image technologies are one of our best allies as teachers. We have been incorporating them into the arts classroom for a long time. In this issue of the journal EARI we present a dossier on ?Cinema and Art Education?. Both photography and the moving image have experienced an incredible technological development among as many users as we live together on the planet. Mobile technologies and new concepts for digital uses are being incorporating into all dimensions of our lives, so that we can no longer remain oblivious to this educational and artistic urgency. From the CREARI group we have been fully involved in the organization of the First International Conference of Digital Humanities and Cultural Pedagogies, to advance in the search for academic possibilities in a world where video games, television series, music videos and music trends Digital art are leading complex and tremendously attractive processes. We consider that game and adventure are a natural part of our rebellion. We cannot continue without addressing the new practices and habits of citizenship.

By the study of a mountain environment, Sierra de Espadán (Castellón, Spain), the aim is to explore relationships that through art, heritage -material and immaterial- and visual culture are generated between this particular space and the inhabitant or visitor. The result of these relationships is the value of the mountain environment and landscape, as well as a cultural approach to the rural world is produced. The main idea is to use art, artistic education, heritage and visual culture as intermediaries between the city and the rural environment, between the urban surroundings and nature. It is about seeing how these mediating elements reinforce the perception of the mountain landscape from multiple angles. From the most poetic -connected with ideas and philosophical concepts-, to the most pragmatic -related with ethnological aspects-, going through simple visual analogies, not by obvious less fascinating. We try to contribute to a new idea of ruralism, breaking with closed positions, prejudices and clichés established in both directions: city-countryside and countryside-city. Finally, the concept of "walking as an aesthetic practice" presents a way of becoming aware of space and appropriating it, which acquires a transcendental importance. It presents a way to understand the environment from observation and experimentation, favoring the creation of links from which to connect with the landscape. Keywords: art, nature, mountain, heritage, walk, rural
