Abstract
In the last thirty years young people have experienced labor precarity at first hand. In this time, they have been the guinea pigs for a whole range of ever-increasing forms of job insecurity typical of present-day capitalism. In this paper we look at the latest versions of this phenomenon, which is spreading into other aspects of young people’s lives. We focus on its new forms coupled with juvenile subjectivities guided by the logic of entrepreneurial and juvenile human capital. These processes have now reached all parts of the world including Spain and South America. After describing the most important theoretical dimensions, we will illustrate them by a series of interviews from a recent investigation on work precarity and the university graduates’ brain drain.
