Abstract
This contribution aims to analyze the topic of credit scoring, i.e. the system used by financial institutions in order to assess the creditworthiness of loan applicants. This topic stands out for the operation of various skills outsourced through the use of heterogeneous mechanisms, less and less linked to human contribution as they are connected to ?artificial?, albeit intelligent, functioning. The algorithmic processing of personal data sometimes leaves room for discretionary, even ?corrective?, intervention by credit institutions, while, on other occasions, defined as of automated decision, the mechanically-performed operation is considered definitive and irreversible. There are quite a few consequences on a legal level, both from a perspective of liability of the different subjects who, in various capacities, operate in such systems, and in terms of damage to subjective legal situations relating to the person.
