Abstract
The Hd sheet, which includes a dual activity with higher cognitive demand, completes the functionality of the ADEM test and is referred to as ADEMd with the incorporation of this fourth sheet. The Adult Developmental Eye Movement (ADEM) test consists of three sheets, with the task being to read aloud as quickly as possible the tens of numbers present. The two vertical sheets (V1 and V2) each have 40 tens of numbers, requiring vertical eye movements, and the horizontal sheet (H) has 80 tens of numbers, requiring horizontal eye movements. On this occasion, a new sheet called horizontal distractor (Hd) is incorporated. It demands horizontal eye movements with greater attention than the previous H sheet. The task on the Hd sheet requires a divided activity, where the subject must simultaneously pay attention, identify, and name the 80 tens of numbers while also identifying but not naming the present letters.
