Abstract
------- Eduardo Escalante Feo and Vicente Peydró Díez were the main architects of musical theater revival of Valencia immersed in the cultural movement called Renaissance. In a time when the performing arts in the city of Turia was in decline, both authors pushed for enlarging the native language theater, renouncing meteoric careers in the capital Madrid. In this research paper we analyze the scripts of the most significant work operettas including: La Chent de Trò and Les Barraques, at the time, the two works that gained recognition by his contemporaries and became both authors in the main supporters of the valencian lyric theater.
