Identidad y Alteridad ante el fenómeno migratorio un análisis de los discursos de los directores de escuela sobre el fenómeno migratorio en Santiago de Chile.
Research carried out a critical analysis of the images or social representations of identity and otherness are used in the speeches of some of the educational elite to the Peruvian migration in Santiago de Chile. Alterity is thus expressed in a Peruvian immigrant alien. Also, the identity (and hence alterity) is understood as a construct that is capable of being analyzed from some contextual order regarding, specifically: the referent economic, political reference concerning legislative and legal-cultural reference. And finally, the fraction of the educational elite is under study consists of principals and Education Department of Municipal Assistance (DAEM) of the Municipality of Santiago, Region Metropolitana, Chile. These directors are not considered individually but rather as part of an elite or group of power that, like other professionals, given its broader discursive and access their particular position in school administration have a special access set of discursive practices that seek to give meaning to the school environment. Circumstance which acquires some significance once warned that greater access to discursive, more power to shape reality. His strategy of inquiry has been to design an analytical-interpretative whose implementation has allowed us to carry out a critical analysis of speeches from two perspectives. On one hand, the prospect of analyzing the internal logic of the speech, he has worked the field of discursive structures of power and control (according to some criteria Teun van Dijk, such as lexical level, degree of specificity and completeness of the text, and local semantic structures). Furthermore, the prospect of external logic analysis of the speech, he has worked in the field of discursive strategies of power and domination (according to some criteria of Michel Foucault, body, power and space). Both perspectives have provided us the categories of analysis of horizontal order. Thus, the analysis categories of horizontal order (from both the analysis of the internal logic and external logic of discourse) have been at all times, crossed by the categories of cross-order analysis (categories specific to the identity) such as motion, contradiction and conflict. Crossing that has been applied to each of the selected references to see the identity in this case concerning economic, political, legal and socio-legal. So used the strategy of inquiry (design, implementation and interpretation of the analytical device), has allowed us the images or social constructs such party elite education on the subject of identity and otherness, to the Peruvian migration in Santiago Chile.
