- Recursos mediáticos en la práctica educativa de E/LE en la Universidad de Relaciones Internacionales de Moscú (MGIMO)(2017) Yakovleva, Victoria; Vereshchinskaya, YuliaThis work is dedicated to share our educative practice experience in the use of media resources in the SFL. We analyze the efficiency of types of audiovisual materials in their didactic and pedagogical implications in the general course A1-A2, B1-B2 as well as in the course of Spanish For Specific Purposes (B2-C1). We expose the methodology of application of such instruments at the MGIMO University as one of the best methods to transmit the language in the real context with exploring of its linguistic and extra linguistic peculiarities. - Creatividad en la enseñanza de español para negocios(2017) Montañez Mesas, Marta PilarCreativity is part of learning, especially in SFL, also in Spanish for Specific Purposes like Spanish for business. Creative process put order in new knowledge or contents and, at the same time, the results make the student happy. In other words, we learn better when we are interested in the task or it produces us emotions. In general, there are two types of creativity tasks: some of them need computer programs and others are rhetorical or literary. In the tasks that are proposes here the student is the protagonist of his learning and he has to create of nothing some original and unpublished text. Finally, creativity is useful but it has been adapted to the specific group. Key words: creativity, SFL, Spanish for Specific Purposes, Spanish for business, B1-B2.
- El vídeo, el cómic y el rap : una forma diferente de desbloquear al candidato del DELE(2017) Battagliero Bocco, Florencia; Fontana Oltra, José Vicente; Navarro, MartaEl objetivo del presente artículo es trabajar y reforzar las destrezas y competencias necesarias para aprobar el Diploma de Español como Lengua Extranjera. Para ello, se planteará una serie de recursos que buscan desbloquear al estudiante en un ambiente distendido, sobre todo los días previos al examen. La propuesta se centrará en la Prueba de Expresión e Interacción Orales, concretamente en la tarea 3 del nivel B1 y en la tarea 2 del nivel B2, que corresponden a la descripción de una fotografía. Se empleará, por una parte, un vídeo de carácter estático (donde el interlocutor no expresa movimientos corporales pronunciados) y por otra, cómics de Argentina que a su vez servirán para ampliar el léxico en la variante rioplatense. Por último, se tratará el uso del rap como herramienta para mejorar la pronunciación, entonación y el empleo del lenguaje no verbal. Palabras claves: DELE, vídeo, cómic, rap.
- Enseñar E/LE a la primera generación de nativos digitales(2017) Hernández Liechti, AliciaEste artículo trata de la primera generación de verdaderos nativos digitales en Europa, nacidos en torno al año 2000 y que en la actualidad asisten a los institutos de secundaria. Son diferentes a los de generaciones anteriores debido sobre todo al impacto que la tecnología ha tenido en sus vidas, pero la mayoría sigue sistemas educativos desfasados, diseñados para alumnos del siglo pasado. Muchos profesores intentan adaptarse a la nueva situación incorporando las TIC en sus cursos. La autora analiza el proceso de creación de un telediario, actividad realizada en el marco de un proyecto piloto de uso de los Ipad en los cursos de E/LE. Este proyecto obtuvo el Primer Premio del concurso a la Mejor práctica docente de E/LE basada en las TIC convocado por la Editorial Difusión/Prolinter en 2017, con la colaboración del Instituto Cervantes y el patrocinio de SIELE y FEDELE. - La incorporación de la regla variable en la enseñanza de E/LE(2017) Terrádez Gurrea, MarcialFor some years the convenience of incorporating sociolinguistic information into the teaching of a language has been reiterated. In the Anglo-Saxon context, «sociolinguistic grammar» is discussed occasionally, there have been some attempts to enrich grammatical information with variational data. However, in the case of Spanish, this information is seldom addressed, beyond the need to address differences in register when teaching Spanish to foreign students. We present a proposal to incorporate the sociolinguistic variable into the teaching of SSL, taking Bernstein's difference between a restricted code and an elaborated code, and relating all this to our own research on the different use of the lexicon according to the socio-cultural strata. We will focus on three lexical elements: adverbs in -mente, abstract nouns and classifying nouns, showing, unlike what is usually done in a SSL class, how spoken Spanish data show us that it would be advisable to didactically classify these elements, teaching several of them in higher levels of SSL. - Virus tropical en la clase de E/LE : cómo trabajar la narración visual, la identidad y el plurilingüismo con una novela gráfica(2017) Corti, AgustínThe paper presents an approach to the development of visual literacy in S/FL through the graphic novel Virus tropical from Powerpaola. Within a narratological approach it elaborates exercises on sociocultural competence and identity awareness of learners on behalf of Spanish as a pluricentric language. - El español hablado en Valencia. Interferencia lingüística y enseñanza de la lengua(2017) Giménez Folqués, David; Roselló Verdeguer, JorgeAll languages show variation both from a geographical and a social point of view, and its learning is always produced through one of its geographical varieties. There are areas where the Spanish language coexist with other languages, and this gives it a series of special features which the teachers of Spanish as a foreign language must know and explain to his/her students. In this paper, we analyze some linguistic interferences which are produced between Spanish and Valencian ?a variety of Catalan which is spoken in Valencia? and, finally, we propose some teaching activities to be used in ELE classes. - ¿Y dónde está la gracia? El humor en el aula de ELE(2017) Linares Bernabéu, EstherEl presente trabajo muestra el fenómeno pragmático del humor como un instrumento idóneo para suscitar la reflexión sobre el uso y funciones del lenguaje en los estudiantes de ELE. Una vez expuestas las referencias al humor verbal y a la ironía por parte del Marco Común Europeo de Referencia y el Plan Curricular del Instituto Cervantes, ofreceremos una propuesta didáctica cuyo objetivo es la activación y desarrollo de la competencia comunicativa. Muestras humorísticas como el monólogo pueden contribuir a mejorar las destrezas lingüísticas y pragmáticas en ELE desde niveles iniciales. - Al rescate de la economía o cómo hablar con metáforas de asuntos serios(2017) Rivera León, LorenaAs a result of the formulation of the Cognitive Theory of the Metaphor by Lakoff and Johnson (1980) scholars discovered that this literary device could contribute to the development of communicative competence among L2 students. However, there are barely any didactic materials to take advantage of it. With the purpose of filling this gap a didactic sequence for Business Spanish, level C1, is presented. The speech in social sciences is rich in technical terms coming from the assignment of a metaphorical value to words we use in everyday language. Texts from the economic section of the newspaper El País will be used in order to detect the underlying conceptual metaphors that are essential for argumentation. After this training lesson, students must be able to construct metaphors for the discussion on economic interventionism. Keywords: Metaphor, cognitive linguistics, economy, Business Spanish.

- Enseñanza de la colocación basada en la analogía del inglés(2017) Tsutahara, RyoIn this paper, at first, I will try to show the importance of the knowledge of collocations for ELE students. Insufficient knowledge of collocations may cause phrases that can be grammatically correct but sound strange like lluvia pesada. By learning collocations, the students can expand their vocabulary and improve their capacity of expression. Therefore, it is useful to develop a strategy to facilitate the learning of collocations. I think that the parallels between Spanish and English could improve the teaching of collocations and I have established teaching materials based on this analogy. The second objective of this paper is to present it and show the distinctive feature of these materials. I will also show data that support the validity of the strategy, the data that indicate that the majority of the collocations in Spanish and the corresponding ones in English are lexically parallel. - Las exposiciones temporales como recurso para la clase de ELE(2017) Brines Gandía, JaumeThis report shows the profitability that museums, exhibition rooms and art can offer to two different areas in the teaching of Spanish as a foreign language: linguistic and cultural. The museum exhibitions offer multiple resources which, with a good didactic work in the classroom, can provide the students with an approach to the language and the intercultural competence.This practical activity was carried out in two different groups of B1 and B2 levels, in two different temporary art exhibitions, about Sorolla and Victoria Cano in the Centre del Carmen (Valencia). The teacher and the students attended a guided tour of the exhibitions, in which they had to fill up a sheet of paper with relevant information about the exhibitions. The vantages of arts and the museums integration in Spanish as a foreign language are shown through the students impressions, expressed in their written texts after visiting the exhibitions. - Estrategias para la enseñanza del lenguaje académico. Dominio desde la instrucción de las destrezas orales(2017) Cortés Bueno, EstherThe ever increasing number of students studying in our university classrooms proceding from within and outwith the European community, create the need for a special curricular programme for these students. It should not be forgotten that their presence is part of the objectives of the project of the European Space of Higher Education (EHEA): a correct integration of this students would respond to the aspirations of internationalization of the University. The aim of this proposal is to explain the mechanism of courses whereby the teaching of oral skills form the foundations for a deeper learning of written skills in different academic contexts, working on a rich variety of tipologies of textual genre, with emphasis on the true use of the language. - Un año de Spanish in a day. Resultados y retos futuros(2017) Ayala Carrasco, Provi; González Plasencia, Yeray; Ramos Álvarez, AntonioThis paper aims to provide an overview of the collaborative project Spanish in a day, the first online video contest for Spanish FL learners worldwide. In the first place, we will describe the key elements when designing the contest (rules, goals, categories and assessment criteria). Subsequently, we will focus on the new features of the 2nd edition, in particular those dealing with the parallel contest for underage students and with the instructional design of a MOOC, based on selected videos of the 1st edition. Lastly, conclusions drawn from data analyses will be addressed in relation to the following aspects: student participation and feedback and the production of a documentary film featuring video clips from all contestants. - Aprendizaje lingüístico e inclusión social : combinación del enfoque comunicativo y el enfoque por tareas.(2017) Talens Company, BorjaThe present proposal of practical experience aims to share the good results achieved in a course of Spanish as a foreign language for immigrants carried out in ?L?Espai d?Inclusió i Formació Casc Antic? (Eicascantic) in which the communicative approach and the task-based approach were combined in order to fulfil objectives of improving the linguistic level of students and promoting their social inclusion in their new context. To this end, the sociolinguistic material of level A2 of the MCERL "Conociendo" was created and applied in an intensive course of 54 hours duration, carrying out, afterwards, an analysis of the results obtained. All this was done with the main objective of the organization in mind: to promote the social inclusion of young people and adults of different origins through training and participation initiatives that facilitate the exercise of active and responsible citizenship, coexistence and social cohesion.Keywords: L2 learning, immigration, social inclusion, communicative approach, task-based approach, communicative practices.

- El uso del diccionario como componente estratégico en las clases de ele para alumnado sinohablante(2017) Iglesia Martín, Sandra; Gibert Escofet, M. IsabelEl diccionario cumple una función importante en el proceso de aprendizaje de una lengua extranjera (Lew, 2016). Cuando un alumno sinohablante está aprendiendo español ve la necesidad de usar el diccionario para verificar la ortografía o el significado de las palabras que desconoce (Tungmen Tu, 2010). Esto se evidencia en el hecho de que cuando un alumno llega a clase siempre trae consigo un diccionario. Los objetivos principales de este estudio son: (1) hacer un diagnóstico del uso que los estudiantes sinohablantes hacen de los diccionarios en clase; y (2) analizar la percepción que tienen dichos estudiantes de las ventajas y desventajas que representa el diccionario en el aula de lengua. En las conclusiones del trabajo se propone una línea de actuación docente en el ámbito del componente estratégico para optimizar el uso de diccionarios monolingües y bilingües en clase. - Una propuesta para la enseñanza de las locuciones en la clase de ELE(2017) Ureña Tormo, Clara; Gómez González, AlbaA pesar de los grandes avances en el ámbito de la enseñanza de la fraseología, el tratamiento que las unidades fraseológicas reciben no siempre resulta totalmente satisfactorio. En este artículo se presenta una secuencia didáctica incluida en la obra Locuciones y refranes para dar y tomar (Gómez González y Ureña Tormo, 2014) y se detalla la experiencia práctica de llevarla a la clase de ELE. Esta propuesta plantea el estudio de un grupo de locuciones relacionadas con la expresión de opiniones y valoraciones, y va dirigida a estudiantes de español de nivel B2, etapa del aprendizaje en que ya se ha alcanzado un cierto dominio del idioma. Siguiendo las bases del enfoque comunicativo, la secuencia incluye una amplia tipología de actividades, distribuidas en distintas fases, con el objetivo de que los estudiantes sean capaces de identificar, comprender y memorizar las locuciones propuestas e integrarlas en su competencia comunicativa.Palabras clave: fraseología, locuciones, valoraciones, enfoque comunicativo.
- Cervantes y el amor : evolución de las colocaciones desde la perspectiva de género(2017) García Saiz, LorenaEste artículo presenta una unidad didáctica de Lengua Castellana y Literatura, que se trabaja en el Aula de Acogida de un centro de secundaria con un grupo de alumnado extranjero con un nivel B1. Concretamente, se trabajan las colocaciones amorosas aparecidas en diversas poesías de Miguel de Cervantes, mediante un conjunto de actividades guiadas y desde un enfoque comunicativo. Posteriormente, se comparan con similares construcciones en productos culturales actuales, ?en este caso, con cuestionarios de revistas juveniles que giran en torno al amor-, con lo que se comprueba que muchas de las actuales concepciones sobre las relaciones amorosas tienen un bagaje histórico y temporal, construido bajo la idea del «amor romántico». Así pues, el acercamiento a la obra de uno de los mayores escritores de la literatura universal- centrándonos en el reconocimiento, composición y uso de diversas colocaciones- sirve para trabajar componentes no solo lingüísticos sino culturales, contribuyendo a una labor coeducativa. - 100 voces y expresiones del español de Valencia en el aula de E/LE(2017) Giménez Folqués, DavidResulta recurrente en el aula de E/LE preguntarse qué variante del español enseñar. Por un lado, es importante que los estudiantes se familiaricen con la realidad dialectal panhispánica, donde pueden encontrarse con diferentes variantes del español; pero, por el otro, también es interesante que conozcan las peculiaridades del español de la zona donde están llevando a cabo su aprendizaje lingüístico. De este modo, en el presente trabajo trataremos de explicar las características del español de Valencia mediante su léxico, en concreto, mediante 100 voces y expresiones extraídas de corpus significativos como el de Val.Es.Co, PRESEVAL o CORPES. Finalmente, incluiremos una breve propuesta didáctica que sirva como muestra. Palabras clave: variedades del español, español de Valencia, corpus españoles.
