Opiniones respecto a su financiación:(Asociación Española de Estudio en Drogodependencias, AESED, 2020) Gil, Juan; Abella Pons, Francesc; Pedra, GerardWHO?s measures to control smoking have facilitated the decrease in its prevalence but increasing the differences between social groups. Facilitating the access to medicines, to quit smoking, to the most disadvantaged, decreases the prevalence without increasing the differences between groups. Recently, the financing of varenicline and bupropion has been approved but that measure could be eliminated (it has already happened with other medications) or extended to the TSN and bupropion. OBJETIVE: 1) Knowing the use of tobacco according to socioeconomic status, 2) Knowing the opinion of the population regarding the financing according to the socioeconomic status and tobacco use. METHOD: Population descriptive study. RESULTS: Increases tobacco consumption by decreasing status. 64.3% are in favour of funding. Except for individuals without studies, the favorable opinion of the measure decreases as the academic level increases. This opinion increases as the relationship with tobacco increases, being minimal in non-smokers (52.6%) and maximum in daily smokers (79.8%). DISCUSSION: The result coincides with other studies, but not with the considerations of a 2011 report by the Health Technology Assessment Agency. The noncoincidence could be an evolution of the opinion of the population, which goes from accentuating the problem in the responsibility of the consumer to considering a more complex aetiology that not only depends on the individual. Given the great support for the measure, it should not depend on political or economic situations in the future and should be extended to TSN and bupropion.
- El análisis de aguas residuales con fines epidemiológicos: presente y futuro en España:(Asociación Española de Estudio en Drogodependencias, AESED, 2020) Pocurull Aixalà, Eva; Marcé, R.M.; González Mariño, I.; Rodil, R.; Montes, R.; Estévez Danta, A.; Andreu, V.; Bijlsma, L.; Celma, A.; Hernández, F.; López de Alda, María J.; López García, E.; Picó García, Yolanda; Postigo, C.; Rico, A.; Valcárcel, Y.; Quintana, JorgeWastewater-Based Epidemiology is currently a reliable and complementary tool to methodologies based on traditional indicators for the control of various substances such as drugs. Although several European countries use it as a working tool for the monitoring of drugs of abuse, in Spain its use is mainly limited to studies carried out by different research groups, as described in the case study used as an example in the article. However, the potential of the methodology has been demonstrated in the scientific studies carried out both at the Spanish and international level and, although more studies are necessary to get to know its full potential, it is expected that it could be incorporated as a complementary work tool to those that are usually used. In this sense, the Red Española de Análisis de Aguas Residuales (ESAR-Net), created in 2017 and formed by different Spanish research groups, aims to contribute to the knowledge and application of this methodology in Spain through scientific and outreach activities.
- Efectos de la legalización del cannabis sobre la salud física: una revisión sistemática:(Asociación Española de Estudio en Drogodependencias, AESED, 2020) González Sala, Francisco; San José, Andrea; Ciudad Fernández, VíctorThe legalisation of both, medical and recreational, marijuana has generated a broad debate about its benefits. This paper?s aim is to see up close, by reviewing literature published between 2013 and 2019 in the Web of Science Core Collection database, the effects that legalisation has had in different variables related to physical health. The total number of articles reviewed was 24. The results exhibit an increase in cases and hospital admissions related with accidental consumption of marijuana in children under 18, and in adults due to substance abuse. The number of births admitted to neonatal care has also been affected, in addition to a decrease in the prescriptions of codeine-formulated medications. No stablished link has been made with the number of suicides. It can be concluded that legalization has affected different variables related to physical health, therefore it is necessary to have into account the scientific evidence when debating about the legalisation of marijuana in Spain or other European Union member States.

Which are the connections between problematic drug use and gender models? Is it possible to reconstruct a model of ?male drug user? by considering experiences and points of view of low-income men who are currently under treatments for drug use? To answer these questions, we conducted and analyzed 25 interviews to both professionals and managers of institutions that provide treatments and that follow religious or spiritual orientations in the Metropolitan Area of Buenos Aires, and 21 interviews to men who had assisted to these institutions. By recovering a gender perspective, we reconstruct the main masculinity features which are attributed to drug users: to be proud and aggressive, and to be strong and insensitive. Then, we analyze how explanations and therapeutic proposals affect gender models of interviewed men.
- Riesgo, violencia y control social en el botellón relacionado con Bajá Oasis: una aproximación desde las masculinidades:(Asociación Española de Estudio en Drogodependencias, AESED, 2020) Fernández López, IsmaelThis article describes the results of an ethnographic investigation, carried out in the ?botellón? related to the Bajá Oasis nightclub, located in the province of Tarragona. The ?botellón? is organized in its parking lot and as a stop before entering the premises. A differential perception of risk has been established among young people based on class, gender and ethnicity ascription. Being defined, from masculinities, two great strategies to transit this stratification system; conservation and predation.
- Gaslighting.
