Els Rudimenta grammatices de Niccolò Perotti, inspiradors del Liber elegantiarum de Joan Esteve
    (1992) Polanco Roig, Lluís B.
The study of the evolution of humanism and Renaissance within the Catalan speaking area has not paid enough attention to the process of innovation and adaptation of Latin grammar and rethoric. It is the author's conclusion that the work of the Valentian Joan Esteve Liber elegantiarum (1489) is, to a great extent, a re-ordering of the matters discussed in Rudimenta gramatices (1473) by N. Perotti (1429-1480).

El jo literari i les noves rimades de Pere March
    (1992) Cabré, Lluís
This article first surveys the use of the first person in medieval writing, showing its literary worth, and establishing the validity of this approach to Catalan literature. Secondly, it is suggested that Catalan fourteenth century noves rimades are a genre in which a substantial amount of creativity and empirical circumstance were virtually unavoidable, at least when written in a courtly environment. Both these general points of view provide the framework for a close analysis of Pere March's noves. Special attention is given to his merging of a wide range of literary traditions that interact with his different personae, either to build up courtly divertimenti (Lo compte final, Lo mal d'amor) or to epitomise chivalric culture (L'arnés del cavaller).

De la Forest gasta al Lignum crucis. Edició dún poema anònim del segle XIV
    (1992) Pujol, Josep
The text edited is an extant fragment, copied by the end of the XIVc and now kept in the Library of the monastery of Montserrat, of a medieval Cançoner written in the occitan-catalan language normally used by Catalan poets of the period. This rare sample shows the transference to poems written in the vernacular, of the symbolism related to the Cross, otherwise characteristic of Latin medieval hymnology. The author traces some parallellism with a poem by Peire Cardenal.

El cos, el sexe i la dona en el Recull d'eximplis
(1992) Ysern i Lagarda, Josep Antoni
The collection of exempta edited by Marià Aguiló in 1881, samples materials related to all kinds of subjects, not excluding some –like those explored in this article– of an humorous or rather misogynous nature, related to sexual behaviour, where women are presented as a mischivious source of moral danger.

Enfre la vinya e.l fenollar?: La composició del "llibre d'amic e amat" i l'experiència mística de Ramon Llull
    (1992) Soler, Albert
The essay's main purpose is to eradicate the topic that the Blaquerna is in fact Llull’s autobiography and that the LAA reflects in a direct way R. Llull's mystical experience. While the LAA fits perfectly the general structure of the Blaquerna and could very well nave originally been conceived as a part of this novel, the evidence so far available seems to indicate that the LAA never existed as an independent text.
