- La utilización de la fibra de carbono en las lesiones de los ligamentos colaterales de la rodilla : Estudio preliminar(1988) Sanchis-Guarner i Cabanilles, Manuel; Martín Benlloch, Juan Antonio; Heredia Marín, E.A preliminary report on the usage of carbon fibre prothesis in the repair of acute and chronic lesions of the lateral ligaments of the knee is presented. The authors suggest the sistematic use of carbon fibre as augmentation device in the repair of acute tears in the lateral ligaments of the knee joint.
- Fracturas diafisarias de tibia : nuestra experiencia en su tratamiento(1988) Ruiz Morales, M.; Hernández Hernández, M. A.; Vara Thorbeck, R.En esta serie retrospectiva de 814 fracturas diafisarias de tibia en 803 pacientes, llevan a cabo una clasificación de aquéllas, con especial énfasis en el tipo morfológico y mecanismo de producción; así como una revisión crítica de los tratamientos incruento y cruento puestos en práctica, y análisis de las complicaciones y resultados obtenidos. Destacan las complicaciones apreciadas tras la osteosíntesis con placas de compresión y neutralización. Los autores consideran que no hay un método ideal de tratamiento, y los diversos procederes deben ser sometidos a un examen crítico basado en la experiencia sobre grandes series de pacientes. Sin embargo, los mejores resultados en su serie se obtuvieron mediante enclavamientos intramedulares, especialmente cuando se utiliza la técnica «en cerrojo», que bloquea la rotación y amplía las indicaciones.
- Tratamiento funcional de las fracturas de tibia mediante enclavado de alineamiento y PTB(1988) Garcia Mata, S.; Hidalgo Ovejero, Angel Manuel; Martínez de Lecea Placer, Francisco; Erroba Larraya, J.; Martínez Grande, M.The authors present 27 fractures of distal third of tibia treated by Ender and intramedullary, without reaming nailing and PTB, describing the surgical procedure. Clinical results obtained are excellent, as far as pain and mobility are concerned, with a 58'62% of anatomic radiologic axis, finding as the most frequent disturbances the varusm movement and shortening, being all of them minimal. The small rate of complication (6'89%) and sequels are to be taken as the most important results. This pmcedure is quite useful, since its low rate of infection, sudeck, trombosis, muscular atrophy and joint rigidity for the early loading, with a nule rate of pseudoarthrosis due to maximum preserving of the blood supply.
- Tratamiento quirúrgico de las fracturas de tobillo en jóvenes deportistas(1988) Hidalgo Ovejero, Angel Manuel; Garcia Mata, S.; Heras Izaguirre, J.; Rey Zuniga, J. J.; Martínez Grande, M.Presentamos 45 jóvenes deportistas intervenidos por fractura de tobillo. Se revisan los mecanismos fracturarios y los resultados obtenidos con el tratamiento quirúrgico.
- Laxitud crónica de ligamento lateral externo de tobillo : plastia de Castaing modificada(1988) Campos Rodenas, Simón; Rubio Fuentes, J.; Calderón Arnedo, A.; Clemente Ramón, F.Twenty cases of chronic laxitude of the external Iigament of the ankle, using the Castaing's technique for surgery, are reviewed. The authors describe the procedure abd show the excellent results obtained from the usage of this technique.
- Lesiones ligamentosas de la articulación subastragalina(1988) Fernández Moral, V.; López Fernández, P; Pérez Delgado, L.Los autores han revisado 263 pacientes afectos de Síndrome del Seno del Tarso postraumático. Estos fueron tratados mediante infiltración en el «sinus tarsi» con anestesia local y corticoides depot más inmovilización con bota de yeso, respondiendo favorablemente un 84'03%; al resto se les practicó un legrado del seno del tarso, y sólo fue precisa la artrodesis subastragalina en seis casos. Consideramos que los casos en que hay lesión del componente interno profundo del ligamento astragalo calcáneo, son los que pueden llegar a precisar artrodesis de la subastragalina.
- Protesis de Monk. Revisión. Resultados del tratamiento de las fracturas subcapitales con artroplastia parcial de Monk(1988) Bento Gerard, Julio; Lison Torres, A.; Clavel-Sáinz Nolla, M.A review of the subcapital fracture of the hip treated with partial prothesis (Monk's prothesis) from 1979 to 1983 is reported. A clinical evaluation, using the Merle-D' Aubigne's and Harris' methods and carrying out radiographic study after the surgery and during the follow-up is analised. The best results were obtained in: - Patients older than 70 years of age. - Prothesis with longstem and metallic cup with adequate size. - Good support at the calcar. - Voss' + effect.
- Estabilidad y evolución de las fracturas trocantéreas tratadas con enclavamiento condilocefálico rígido(1988) Albareda, J.; Laclériga Giménez, A.F.; Seral Iñigo, Fernando195 patients with trochanteric fractures of femur treated with rigid intramedulary nailing are colected. They have studied the stability of the fractures, have taken as parameters the fracture's stability, femoral angle of inclination after the surgery and consolidation, reduction of the middle cortical of the fracture after surgery, consolidation and migration of the nail. The authors concluded that the technique provide a relative stability, the reduction during the surgery is the factor than determine the fracture's evolution. The best femoral angle of inclination is valgus and diastasis of the middle cortical of the fracture.
- Tratamiento quirúrgico de las fracturas del olécranon con agujas l. Q. L. perforadas y cerclaje metálico incorporado : Análisis biomecánico y clínico(1988) Argüelles Sanginés, Francisco; Omar Ben Mimoun, O.; Darder Garcia, A.26 olecranon fractures have been treated from 1985 to 1987 with internal fixation with two l. Q. L. holed needles supported with tension band wiring. A revision of the fracture classification was carried out. A biomechanical analysis of this osteosynthesis was undertaken at the Politechnic University of Valencia. Excellent results of this surgical management have been obtained.
