Virtual Reconstruction is an innovative technique used in the criminalistic investigation with the aim of creating a detailed and realistic three-dimensional model of the crime scene. This technique is particularly beneficial in cases that involve difficult access scenes. Where witnesses, victims or perpetrators are involved the event cannot be reproduced, for a variety of reasons, considering the physical location or crime to be proven. In this way, the technique provides researchers the ability to recreate the event and explore various hypotheses about how it took place.
