- DATASET_The implication of sleep disturbances on daily executive functioning and learning problems in children with autism without intellectual disability(ELSEVIER, 2024) Berenguer Forner, Carmen; Lacruz Pérez, Irene; Rosa, Eva; De Stasio, Simona; Choque-Olsson, NoraBackground Individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) often have sleep disturbances, executive functioning difficulties, and learning problems. The aim of this study was twofold. First, to examine the quality of sleep in children with ASD without intellectual disability and typically developing (TD) children. Second, to explore the implication of sleep disturbances in the association between daily executive functioning and learning problems in children with ASD without intellectual disability. Method The sample included 47 children with autism without intellectual disability and 32 TD children. Parent-reported questionnaires were used to assess participants' sleep disturbances, daily executive functions, and learning problems. All statistical analyses performed were adjusted for age, IQ, and medication. Results As expected, the prevalence of sleep disturbances was significantly higher in the ASD group than in the TD group. Regarding the second aim of the study, the total score of sleep disturbances was significantly associated with learning problems and the metacognition subdomain of executive functioning in children with autism without intellectual disability. In turn, executive functions and learning problems were also significantly associated. Finally, sleep disturbances were found to mediate the relationship between global executive functioning and learning problems in children with ASD without intellectual disability. Conclusions The findings suggest that sleep disturbances are common in children with autism, and that they play a mediating role in the association between executive functions and learning problems. Therefore, sleep should be a crucial aspect of interventions to improve the learning and academic performance of school-aged children with ASD without intellectual disability.

- Resilience and social support as predictors of life satisfaction in preadolescents: a gender analysis [Dataset](Universitat de València, 2026) Ayllón-Negrillo, Ester; Salamanca-Villate, Annabella; Cava Caballero, María Jesús; Lascorz-Lozano, Lorién; Departament de Psicologia SocialThis dataset comprises the data utilized in the research article: Ayllón-Negrillo, E., Salamanca-Villate, A., Cava, M.-J., & Lascorz-Lozano, L. (2024). Resilience and social support as predictors of life satisfaction in preadolescents: a gender analysis. Current Psychology, 43, 18982–18991. https://doi.org/10.1007/s12144-024-05673-7 The objective of this study was to analyze the links among life satisfaction, resilience (novelty seeking, emotional regulation and future positive orientation) and social support in early adolescents by exploring possible gender differences. In this study, 552 adolescents aged 10–13 years (52% girls) participated. The dataset includes data from 552 adolescents, encompassing variables such as life satisfaction, resilience (novelty seeking, emotional regulation and future positive orientation) and social support, sex, and age. The results showed stronger positive correlations between life satisfaction and novelty seeking in boys, and positive correlations between life satisfaction and emotional regulation only for girls. Social support was a significant predictor of life satisfaction for both genders, but some resilience dimensions showed differences in their predictive capacity according to gender. Emotional regulation and future positive orientation were predictors of life satisfaction, but only for girls, while novelty seeking was a predictor of life satisfaction for boys. The measures used in the study were as follows: • The adolescents resilience scale - ARS (Oshio et al., 2003); • Satisfaction with life scale SWLS- (Diener et al., 1985, Spanish adaptation by Atienza et al., 2000); • UCLA Loneliness Scale (Spanish adaptation by Borges et al., 2008). The dataset and its associated documentation are available in CSV format, aligned with FAIR Principles.
- Using autonomous teams to improve quality of life of people with intellectual disabilities [Dataset](Springer, 2022) Blizkovská, Marie ; Martínez Tur, Vicente; Patras, Luminita; Moliner Cantos, Carolina; Gracia Grau, Esther; Ramos López, José; Institut d’Investigació en Psicologia dels Recursos Humans, del Desenvolupament Organitzacional i de la Qualitat de Vida Laboral; GIPOS Research Team on Service OrganizationsThis research study tested an intervention, based on autonomous teams and the service co-creation approach, to improve the social inclusion and self-determination (as indicators of quality of life) of people with intellectual disability. Members of the autonomous teams (professionals, people with intellectual disability, and family members) cooperated to plan and carry out a project. A total of 72 autonomous teams participated (experimental condition). Each team designed its action plan to be implemented during eight weeks. Three measurement times were used: before the intervention (T1), four (T2) and eight (T3) weeks after the starting point. Family members (experimental group, N = 117; control group, N = 187) reported on the social inclusion and self-determination of their relative with intellectual disability. Scores in the control group remained stable over time, whereas scores in the experimental group changed significantly. Social inclusion increased (T2), and later stabilized (T3). By contrast, self-determination increased (T2), but this improvement was subsequently reduced (T3).
- Psychosocial adjustment in adolescent victims of peer and dating violence: A gender analysis [Dataset](Universitat de València, 2025) Carrascosa, Laura; Cava Caballero, María Jesús; Ortega-Barón, Jessica; Buelga Vásquez, SofíaThis dataset comprises the data utilized in the research article: Carrascosa, L., Cava, M.-J., Ortega-Barón, J. & Buelga, S. (2025). Psychosocial adjustment in adolescent victims of peer and dating violence: A gender analysis. Journal of Social and Personal Relationships, 42(9), 2392-2412. https://doi.org/10.1177/02654075251343351 The objective of this study was to analyze how both types of victimization are related to five indicators of adjustment (depressed mood, life satisfaction, psychological distress, social network evaluation and loneliness), considering possible gender differences. The dataset includes data from 672 Spanish adolescents (51.64% girls) aged between 12-19 (Mage = 14.53; SD = 1.58) who had a partner at that time or had had one in the past. The results showed that adolescents victimized in both relational contexts (peers and partner) had poorer psychosocial adjustment than those victimized in only one context, with this difference being greater for girls than for boys. In addition, some gender differences were obtained in the adjustment indicators associated with each type of victimization. Depressed mood, psychological distress, and loneliness were significant positive predictors for peer victimization in boys and girls. Nevertheless, loneliness predicted dating violence victimization for boys, but not for girls, while life satisfaction had a greater predictive capacity for girls. These findings highlight the existence of some gender differences that should be considered in the design of intervention programs for greater effectiveness. The measures used in this study were: • Adolescent Dating Relationship Violence Scale -CADRI- (Spanish adaptation by Fernández-Fuertes et al., 2006; Wolfe et al., 2001). • Peer Victimization Scale (VE-I) (Cava & Buelga, 2018). • Depressive Symptomatology Scale (CES-D) (Herrero & Meneses, 2006). • Satisfaction with Life Scale (Spanish adaptation by Atienza et al., 2000; Diener et al., 1985). • Kessler Psychological Distress Scale (K10) (Spanish adaptation by Alonso et al., 2010; Kessler & Mroczek, 1994). • Loneliness Scale (UCLA) (Spanish adaptation by Borges et al., 2008). The dataset and its associated documentation are available in CSV format, aligned with FAIR Principles. The dataset includes: 1. - Digitalization and integrated employment for persons with intellectual disabilities [Dataset](Elsevier, 2025) Fajardo Castro, Leady Viky; Martínez Tur, Vicente; Moliner Cantos, Carolina; Lira Rodríguez, Eva M.; Gracia Grau, Esther; Institut d’Investigació en Psicologia dels Recursos Humans, del Desenvolupament Organitzacional i de la Qualitat de Vida Laboral; Fajardo Castro, Leady VikyBackground: Digitalization is transforming our world cross-sectionally, affecting the work of individuals with intellectual disabilities (ID). Based on the socio-technical approach, digitalization must respect the employability and quality of life of individuals with ID. Aims: This research analyzed the challenges and identified the opportunities stemming from digitalization for integrated employment. Methods and procedures: We conducted two studies. Building on the grounded theory, we analyzed the content of semi-structured interviews (Study 1) using three information sources: experts in technology and ID, workers with ID, and team supervisors in which at least one individual with ID works. Second, we implemented a Delphi method (Study 2) with the participation of experts in technology and ID. Results: The results identified three main themes: characteristics of new professional profiles, opportunities generated by digitalization, and support that can promote the autonomy of individuals with ID. Conclusions and implications: Our study emphasized the need to adapt professional profiles, develop necessary skills, and strengthen support systems. This study takes a significant step toward identifying promising practices for adapting to digitalization in integrated employment. Results also highlighted the importance of a coordinated effort involving employers, the third sector, family members, and public administration in promoting integrated employment. What this paper adds: This article presents two research studies examining the relationship between digitalization and integrated employment for individuals with intellectual disabilities. First, we analyzed semi-structured interviews conducted with experts in digitalization and intellectual disabilities, individuals with intellectual disabilities currently employed in integrated settings, and team supervisors with at least one team member with intellectual disabilities. Second, we conducted a Delphi study involving experts in digitalization and intellectual disabilities. Overall, digitalization is perceived not as a threat but as an opportunity. Although there are potential risks of job loss, digitalization also offers opportunities to promote integrated employment. These opportunities, identified in our research, will require collaborative efforts from employers, third-sector organizations, family members, and public administration.

- Romantic Myths and Cyber Dating Violence Victimization in Spanish Adolescents: A Moderated Mediation Model [Dataset](Universitat de València, 2025) Cava Caballero, María Jesús; Castillo, Isabel; Tomás Marco, Inés; Buelga Vásquez, Sofía; Departament de Psicologia Social; GIUV2023-539This dataset comprises the data utilized in the research article: Cava, M.-J., Castillo, I., Tomás, I., & Buelga, S. (2023). Romantic myths and cyber dating violence victimization in Spanish adolescents: A moderated mediation model. Cyberpsychology: Journal of Psychosocial Research on Cyberspace, 17(2), Article 4. https://doi.org/10.5817/CP2023-2-4 The objective of this study was to examine the relationships between beliefs in romantic myths and cyber dating violence victimization in adolescents, analyzing the possible mediating role of tolerant attitudes toward abuse and the possible moderator role of gender. The dataset includes data from 467 Spanish adolescents who had a romantic relationship (54.4% girls; Mage = 15.09). Results showed positive significant direct and indirect relationships, through tolerant attitudes toward abuse, between beliefs in romantic myths and cyber dating violence victimization. Gender was not a moderator variable in the direct relationships, but its moderator role was supported in the indirect relationships. Stronger positive links between romantic myths and tolerant attitudes toward abuse, and between tolerant attitudes and cibercontrol victimization, were found in adolescent girls. These findings highlight the need to consider tolerant attitudes toward abuse in intervention programs designed to prevent cyber dating violence victimization in adolescents and continue to analyze gender differences in variables related to cyber dating violence victimization. The measures used in this study were: • The Myths of Romantic Love Scale (Carrascosa et al., 2019) • The Attitudes of Tolerance toward Abuse in Romantic Relationships Scale (Cava et al., 2022) • The Cyber-Violence Scale in Adolescent Couples (Cava & Buelga, 2018). - final data gom.dat(Universitat de València, 2025) González-Romá, VicenteConsidering the motivational path of the Job Demands-Resources (JD-R) model, this study investigates a multistep process by which contextual job resources might have an indirect effect on idea implementation. Among 187 shop floor employees of a manufacturing company, we found support for a model whereby job control has an indirect effect, over a 5-month time frame, on idea implementation through employee work engagement and personal initiative. In addition, we found that the indirect effect of job control on idea implementation is stronger when employees have a higher conformity orientation. Support was not found for the hypothesized indirect effect of coworker social support on idea implementation. Our findings support the usefulness of the JD-R theory for understanding how increased idea implementation occurs at work, especially when the additional factors of personal initiative and employee conformity orientation are integrated into the model.
