The 'Speculum Principum ac Iustitiae', by Pere Belluga, is a text written in Latin in the first half of the 15th century and printed almost one hundred years later, in 1530. It is considered the first treatise on Les Corts valencianes. In this work, Belluga analysed the functioning of Valencian parliamentarism in the late Middle Ages, a pacitist political system that went against the currents of the incipient monarchical authoritarianism. Its content was a legal and doctrinal reference for many scholars and politicians of the Modern Age.
