Neolithic of impressed, incised and grooved potteries and the Epicardial Neolithic represent cultural phenomena that are part of the first agropastoral groups in the Iberian Peninsula, sometimes as the first stage of neolithization, and sometimes as its consolidation. In Ebro valley and the NE of Iberia, these two cultural groups have a similar chronological development and similar ceramic decorations. However, their geographical distribution differs markedly. In this work we have analyzed these parameters to determine the origins of each group, its development and its dissolution in others, in a chronological range of c. 5300-4700 cal BC.
