Digital safety. La noción de seguridad digital en los alumnos de la escuela secundaria de segundo grado
Safety in the digital environment is an issue of urgent relevance in schools. The fear that pupils can put their personal data at risk, the technological devices given to them in use, their physical and psychological well-being and in some ways the environment, has always been a deterrent, which has limited the use of technology information in educational practices. Today, however, it is no longer possible to keep media away from educational practice or teaching design, while recognizing the risks to which one exposes oneself to being subjected to the fascination in an uncritical and indiscriminate way. The acquisition of digital skills related to safety represents, as a consequence, an obligatory passage in the information society and education. This contribution presents data and considerations that emerged following a survey conducted in secondary school. The survey focuses on the concept of online security, according to the model developed by Antonio Calvani.
