Vértice was a scientific and cultural magazine published in Spain after the Civil War. In November 1942, it dedicated a monographic issue to the flower in all its aspects (botanical included). Among them, there was an interesting biography dedicated to the naturalist from Segorbe Carlos Pau Español. This article was signed under a pseudonym, and yet we attribute it to Pío Font Quer
