The main objective of this work, entitled Reacció Ni(II) + 2e-  Ni (0) en sistemes electròdics multicapa is the study of the anodic dissolution of nickel in acid media. The techniques mainly used were the Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS) and the Electrochemical Quartz Crystal Microbalance (EQCM). The analysis of the EIS results was focused in obtaining kinetic information about the proposed electrodissolution mechanism in each case. For such a purpose several strategies were proposed, such as the use of the so-called singular points in the Nyquist representation and the existing relation between kinetic parameters and the element of the equivalent circuits used for fitting the obtained impedance spectra. The analysis of the EQCM results were realized by using the instantaneous mass/charge ratio, Fdm/dQ function. All the obtained results put clearly in evidence that the electrochemistry of nickel is very complex due to the strong tendency of nickel for passivation. Finally several studies about the process of polymerization of Neutral Red and Toluidine Blue on nickel were carried out, as well as several studies about the electrochemical behaviour of a composite electrode made form the randomly dispersion of nickel powder within a polymer+graphite matrix.
