Go-betweens. Una propuesta a partir de un caso de estudio del siglo XVI

Through the study of a trial against someone suspected of being a bridge between Algiers, Istanbul and Spanish Moriscos in the context of the revolt of the Alpujarras (1568-1571), the author reflects on the concept of go-betweens, beyond how they are considered in current historiography. The extension of the term to more social actors shows us a Mediterranean characterized by a fluid mobility which is opposed to an early modern world built on cultural and geopolitical boundaries.
