	El libro recoge la transcripción de la conferencia que Paulo Freire impartió en las Jornadas “La importancia estratégica de la formación de personas adultas en la Comunidad Valenciana”, celebradas en la sede histórica de Valencia de la Universidad Internacional Menéndez Pelayo (UIMP) los días 30 y 31 de marzo de 1995, en el marco de la aprobación de la Ley Valenciana de la Formación de Personas Adultas. Aprovechando la coincidencia de dos efemérides muy cercanas –el 25 aniversario de su visita a la Comunidad Valenciana y el centenario de su nacimiento el 19 de septiembre de 2021 en Recife (Brasil)– ahora se recupera por primera vez el contenido de esta conferencia.
	The book gathers the transcription of the lecture that Paulo Freire gave at the Conference "The strategic importance of adult education in the Valencian Community", held at the historical headquarters of the Menéndez Pelayo International University (UIMP) in Valencia on March 30 and 31, 1995, within the framework of the approval of the Valencian Law on Adult Education. Taking advantage of the coincidence of two very close anniversaries - the 25th anniversary of his visit to the Valencian Community and the centenary of his birth on September 19, 2021 in Recife (Brazil) - the content of this conference is now recovered for the first time....
