Abstract: This paper intends to present the genre of testimony by sketching its fun- damental purposes as well as the sort of content that it typically conveys. The approach is inspired in Butler?s theoretical framework. I will thus use the new ontology of the body that she proposes to understand the role of gender in concentration and extermination camps. I will show, for instance, how gender stereotypes were used to deteriorate the deportee?s self-image in the Lager. We will thus elucidate not only how gender can be testified but also the conditions under which we may genuinely listen to it. Paraules clau: testimoniatge, gènere, camp de concentració, Judith Butler.  Keywords: testimony, gender, concentration camp, Judith Butler.

    A Modest Argument Against Scepticism
(2020) Grimaltos, Tobies; Moya Espí, Carlos
Abstract: In this paper we don?t intend to show, against the sceptic, that most of our everyday beliefs about the external world are cases of knowledge. What we do try to show is that it is more rational to hold that most of such beliefs are actually ca- ses of knowledge than to deny them this status, as the external world sceptic does. In some sense, our point of view is the opposite of Hume?s, who held that reason clearly favours scepticism about the independent existence of an external world rather than common sense belief in such an independent existence. In arguing for the superior rationality of this common sense, Moorean view, we also take a fallibi- list conception of knowledge to be rationally preferable to an infallibilist view of it. Keywords: Scepticism, argument from knowledge, common sense, brains-in-a-vat, Moore, Hume, fallibilism.

    (2020) Fabo Lanuza, Javier
In this paper I work up to analyze, comment and discuss some translation options adopted by F. Duque in his monumental edition of the Science of Logic. Specifically, I will focus on the translation of the german terms: ?Daseyn?, ?Unwesen?, ?Auslegung? and ?ausgeführte [Zweck]?, which I will compare promptly with the main foreign translations, as well as with the one of R. Mondolfo, not so much to resume its terminology, as to assess and calibrate Duque's better, in the idea that this retrospective allows to explore other possibilities.
