Una propuesta didáctica(2013) Rodríguez Pastor, César Luis; Castro Verdala, VerónicaThis educational proposal focuses on a specific grammatical aspect: the periphrastic passive voice. The execution has been carried out by taking into account the requirements of the Common European Framework and the Plan Curricular of the Cervantes Institute. A collection of activities have been designed for this within the task-based approach. The students start learning how the passive voice is formed in a deductive way within the context of articles of newspapers, since it is one of fields of written language where this grammatical aspect appears. These activities are shown gradually, offering a real context to the student. We have selected this context because, within the different ones where students can find the periphrastic passive voice, is the closest one to their lives.

- Imágenes y gestos en la fonética aplicada a la enseñanza de E/LE(2013) Ribera Ruiz de Vergara, Ana IsabelWhen Spanish as a foreign language (E/LE) teachers teach oral communication, they realize that many students cannot keep a conversation as simple as this one may be, most of the times, due to their lack of knowledge of pronunciation. Therefore, one question that teachers ask themselves is how to teach applied phonetics. In this article, we will present an innovative didactic activity, carried out with university Frenchspeaking students. This activity focuses on images and gestures and its goal is to help students acquire the sounds that they find more difficult to pronounce.
- La crisis: aprende a indignarte(2013) Morales, Carlos RobertoThis activity uses economic crisis as an excuse for the students to be able to express complaints and satiety in the advanced way. Besides, the final activity is that students know how to make proposals to improve the present situation in Spain and other countries. With videos, pictures, newspaper headlines and even poems, learners will know the causes of the crisis. We will acquaint the student with the real situation of millions of Spaniards and we will provide them with the necessary tools to make them manage this present situation.
- Empresas y Derechos Humanos.
- De cargar algo a cargarse a alguien: verbos y expresiones que se prestan a confusión(2013) Gassó, Héctor H.; Romero Zamora, AntonioOur practical proposal will be focused on situations, with different difficulty levels, in which the vocabulary to use is very similar formally, but very different regarding its meaning. There is a wide variety: hesitation (absence / presence / change) in the use of prepositions, derivations or reflexivity, among others. We will begin with the oposition of only two words, indicating their phonic proximity and graphic similarity, and at the same time their great semantic distance. With the second activity we will extend the examples of words and expressions with these features, stressing the oposition «formal proximity ? semantic distance». With the third and last activity we will increase the number of analised examples and we will review the subject. The four abilities will be worked equally.
- Trabajar los géneros discursivos en clase de E/LE: la nota crítica(2013) España Palop, EduardoWorking with discursive genres is essential to acquire proper communicative competence. By the didactic sequence presented here, students will acquire key tools to build critical notes, at the same time they will work aspects of Spanish language that will enable them to increase their reading and writing comprehension.
- ¡Buen Camino! El Camino de Santiago como recurso didáctico en la enseñanza de E/LE(2013) Barbasán Ortuño, Inmaculada; March Arnao, José RicardoThe cultural aspect in language teaching is essential for every student and even more so in the world of E/LE, which comprises an enormous diversity of topics and idiosyncrasies shared by Spanish-speaking territories. Despite this, handbooks and activities too often work with clichés related to Hispanic culture which correspond to the students' preconceived ideas and ignore other less popular yet highly relevant content. ¡Buen Camino! suggests working with one of the most important assets of Spanish culture, the Route to Santiago (Camino de Santiago), full of history and culture but still unknown by the general public. Using this subject as a common link, ¡Buen Camino! develops a variety of activities aimed at A2-B1 level students taken from a creative and communicative standpoint.
- Vamos a cambiar el mundo(2013) Cortijo Delgado, María Isabel; Montero García, MarinaThis activity serves to develop the grammatical subject ?going to + infinitive? by the backdrop of elections. Taking advantages to the context of elections, we considered how we could teach our electoral system. However, to prevent the politics tarnish our class, we decided to divide students into groups and develop proposals that will be possible or impossible to change the world. After exposing the ?promises? of each ?political party?, the students voted with their ?Spanish DNI? and the winning group gives a rally. The activity proved to be much more complete and enriching that could be expected from an ordinary exercise. Our aim is to share this experience which enables to work on the grammar as well as on the functional, lexical and cultural contents.
- ¿Sabes contar chistes?(2013) Aliaga Aguza, Laura MaríaHumor is a phenomenon that helps in our personal relationships and, as well as culture, we acquire it as we grow. Each country has a different humor. Therefore, this is an aspect that teachers should not forget when teaching a language. With this paper we want students to learn how to recognize and produce jokes. To do so, we selected several short jokes where hilarious effect is achieved through linguistic resources such as polysemy and homonymy, graphical and phonics; or, idioms, nicknames or error in the spelling. Through various activities the student will recognize the mechanisms that are used to create humor in the jokes, and finally create for themselves these types of texts.
