- RELIEVE turns 10 years, but... how it was the first?(2005) Rodríguez Gómez, GregorioThe author remembers the beginnings of RELIEVE, the first electronic journal that was authorized in Spain. The evolution of electronic publishings in these ten years is also analyzed.
- Exploratory factorial analysis and psychometrics properties on the Scale of Sensed Parental Competencies. Version for parents (ECPP-p)(2005) Bayot, Agustín; Hernández Viadel, José Vicente; de Julián, Luis FelipeThe lack of parental (or relative) competence is related to the development of a model of unsuitable behaviour in children (sons or daughters), suffering the consequences of this fact. However, practically there is no existence of evidences that can measure this. The Scale of Parental Competence Sensed (parents vision) (ECPP-P) it is composed by twenty-two items which are structured in five factors. The ECPP shows some psychometric properties highly acceptables.
- Differences in the knowledge of the technological resources in professors starting for gender, age and center type(2005) Almerich Cerveró, Gonzalo; Suárez Rodríguez, Jesús M.; Orellana Alonso, María Natividad; Belloch, Consuelo; Bo Bonet, Rosa María; Gastaldo, IreneThe integration of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in education supposes that faculty must possess competencies for it. In this paper, it is analyzed how gender, age and type of educational institution influence teacher’s knowledge about different technological resources. The study is based in a survey design, whose population is made up of teachers from Primary and Secondary educational institutions in the Comunidad Valenciana, both public as private ones. The sample is composed of 868 teachers and the questionnaire is the instrument of collection of the information. The results, obtained by means of ANOVA model, indicate that the variable gender is the one that most influences in the knowledge of faculty’s technological resources, while age and type of educational institution present smaller influence. Therefore, the personal and contextual factors influence in the knowledge of technological resources on the part of faculty and they must consider carrying out the appropriate formative actions.
- Elements for evaluation plans design about e-learning programs in the company area(2005) Ramos Santana, GenovevaFrom a broad research framework, this paper’s objective is to reflect on different ways to develop E-learning evaluation plans for companies whose employees are in continuous training. Two empirical studies are presented that provide substantive references for identifying the standards, indicators and variables that can be considered for this type of evaluation plan. The results of different kinds of analyses have resulted in a guideline of standards usable in an Evaluation Protocol, and an outline to facilitate the planning and development of these kinds of evaluations.
- Virtual communities, research groups and projects on IMS Learning Design. State of the art, key factors and forthcoming challenges(2005) Burgos, Daniel; Koper, RobWe carry out a report showing the state of the art about virtual communities, research groups and projects focused on the e-learning specification IMS Learning Design or directly related to it. This specification is currently becoming the most flexible and supported de facto standard for modelling full learning processes, as a complement for any structure of educational contents. Afterwards, as a consequence of the previous study, we develop a reading and a further analysis of the current panorama, and describe the key factors that show the relevance and impact of IMS Learning Design and also the main forthcoming challenges.
