- Perfil de los menores en conflicto con la ley(2012) Nieto Morales, ConcepciónIt is important to know the profile of a minor who commits criminal punishable actions and who is being studied by us through a series of quantitative methods that are obtained after drawing up a report concerning such minor at the Juvenile Prosecutor's Office. The study of the legal and executive psychological, social and educational variables made on the situation of the minors will provide the profile of the minors who are in conflict with the law. The registration of criminal offences and the characteristics of the execution will allow us to know the situation of the minors, their recidivism, the effectiveness of the steps taken, etc. In short, we need to know the situation in order to be able to take the corresponding resocialization measures, effective resources and actions meant to prevent later offences.

It is important to identify the specificity of Social Work in the Health Care System in order to consolidate Professional Identity from the homogeneity in the processes and procedures of intervention and the identification of the duties carried out by these professionals in the different health institutions/services of the Community of Valencia.
- La dirección de centros docentes de educación primaria en clave de género(2012) Eliseo Valle, JoséResulta constatable que las mujeres se encuentran infrarrepresentadas en puestos de liderazgo en las organizaciones educativas, pese a constituir la mayoría del profesorado. En particular la feminización generalizada de la enseñanza primaria no se traduce en una presencia similar en puestos de responsabilidad. La masculinización de los puestos directivos invita a reflexionar sobre el liderazgo en clave de género, sobre las eventuales diferencias de ejercicio de hombres y mujeres o las barreras que impiden a las profesoras el avance profesional y su alejamiento de las instancias de poder y decisión en el ámbito educativo. El estudio combina técnicas cuantitativas y cualitativas de análisis, y forma parte de una investigación más amplia sobre dirección de centros públicos valencianos de infantil y primaria (CEIPS).

- El consum recreatiu d'esteroides anabolitzants entre els joves valencians(2012) Agulló Calatayud, Víctor; Aguilar Serrano, Julia; Vidal Infer, Antonio Martín; Valderrama Zurián, Juan Carlos; Aleixandre Benavent, RafaelThe present study tries to measure the phenomenon of recreational consumption of anabolic steroids amongst youngsters from the city of Valencia by means of the application of through interviews. The sample was composed by nineteen young men aged between 21 and 34 years, that were selected from fitness centers using the snowball sampling technique. Individuals under use and abuse of anabolic steroids present patterns of consumption similar to other substances of abuse: low risk perception, repeated use and dose increase, as well as the lack of information among them. Therefore, after transcending the sports field, the consumption of anabolic steroids should be studied like any other substance of abuse in order to be able to cope with specific ad hoc designed prevention campaigns in a proper way.
- Reflexión en torno a la orientación sociolaboral universitaria como área de intervención(2012) Pinta Prieto, Sara de laThe work of personal and employment counselors in universities has acquired over the past decades a more relevant role in the process of development and consolidation of the professional and academic life, losing its former limited scope and acquiring a more global and inclusive view, especially after the implementation of the European Higher Education Area. The purpose of this article is to reflect on the practice of personal and employment counselors in universities as an integration tool for students and future professionals, both in the professional environment and in society in general, and also to analyze this professional figure and its influence in the university environment.
