Los vertidos ilícitos de residuos tóxicos: un registro delincuencial propio de la mafia del sur de Italia

During the last decades, Neapolitan Camorra has specialised in the illicit dumping of hazardous wastes within the region of Campania (Italy). This article presents the guidelines of these criminal offences emphasising their origins, people involved and modus operandi. The aim is to reach a better comprehension of these racketeering activities in order to implement effective responses to suppress them and tackle their harmful consequences on society, health, and the environment.
