S'explica la història medieval del país des de l'organització sociopolítica i territorial del Sarq al-Andalus passant per la destrucció d'aquesta societat, la conquesta cristiana, la formació política i institucional del Regne de València, la colonització cristiana del territori i el desenvolupament polític del mateix fins principis del segle XVI.
