Drug use is a social problem that has repercussions on the health and environment
of drug users. The objective is to describe the family risk and protection factors in relation
to the consumption of psychoactive drugs by young adolescents, as well as to study the
family as the central axis of the prevention of psychoactive drug consumption. A
qualitative meta-study is developed using a reference search strategy that is constituted
from a systematic literature review, categorization, analysis of results and discussion. A
bibliographic sample of 24 studies of a quantitative and qualitative nature is obtained.
The results are organized into 4 categories based on a synthesis table. The family
constitutes itself as an indicator of psychoactive drug consumption and a protector in the
same way.
