Parental socialization is a topic widely studied in psychology. Most of the studies use the model of four parental styles and two theoretically orthogonal dimensions. In the traditional teaching/learning process of the four-style model, many students describe difficulties related to the understanding of the model from textbook texts, with information that is too decontextualized and static.
