dc.description.abstract	Given a Poisson-Nijenhuis manifold, a two-parameter family of Poisson- Nijenhuis structures can be defined. As a consequence we obtain a new and noninductive proof of the existence of hierarchies of Poisson-Nijenhuis structures.
