| In our globalised world there is a growing need for civil legal cooperation between States. In Spain, the applicable legislation is the Civil International Legal Cooperation Act 29/2015 of 30th July which deals with the duty to translate the documents with origin in Spain or abroad. The kind of translation required by said Act as well as by EU regulations will be analysed with special emphasis on EU Regulation 2016/1191. The regulatory development for the Language Interpretation Office foreseen under Additional Provision 16 of Act 2/2014 of 25th March on the State Foreign Action and Service will likewise be examined. | |||
