The Piety preserved in the Museum of Fine Arts of Asturias is a devotional piece attributed to the Master of the Female Half-Lengths. To create this painting, which depicts several passages of the Passion, the artist followed models that had already been used in other Flemish workshops, as David?s and Benson?s, as well as in an engraving made by Durer. |
