| The haemophilias are due to a functional coagulopathy ( either factor VIII, IX or factor VIII-platelet defiency ). Because to musculoskeletal a cu te haemorrhages, young and elderly patients develop structural deformities. Between 1981-1986, 194 patients ( 499 admission) werw admitted to the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre in Oxford. In this paper the authors present the treatment carried out in these patients. | |
