dc.description.abstract	L'harmonia vocàlica és un fenomen assimilatori que comporta, en general, beneficis articulatoris per a l'emissor i beneficis perceptius per al receptor, tot i que aquests guanys vénen acompanyats per l'afebliment o fins i tot per l'eliminació de propietats subjacents de les vocals harmonitzades. Per aquest motiu, els paràmetres que regulen l'extensió dels trets propagats han de determinar, en cada cas, quines són les causes que afavoreixen la igualació malgrat la pèrdua d'informació concomitant. L'objectiu d'aquest treball és revisar, amb exemples extrets de les llengües romàniques de la península Ibèrica, algunes de les característiques compartides pels diferents fenòmens d'harmonia vocàlica documentats, amb la finalitat d'establir una tipologia de patrons harmònics. Abstract Vowel harmony is an assimilatory phenomenon that entails, in general, articulatory benefits for the speaker and perceptual benefits for the listener, although these gains bring about the weakening or even the deletion of the underlying properties of the harmonized vowels. Because of that, the parameters that control the extension of the spread features must determine, in each case, which are the causes that favor the homogenization in spite of the concomitant loss of information. The aim of this work is to review, with examples taken from the Romance languages spoken in the Iberian Peninsula, some of the characteristics shared by the different attested phenomena of vowel harmony, in order to establish a typology of harmonic patterns.
