dc.description.abstract The activities associated to the Learner Generated Content, LGC, are supposed to enhance the learning process, facilitating the construction of knowledge. In this paper, the description of the process of creation of learning content is addressed. A group of student of the first course of an engineering degree constructs collaboratively a blog that covers the real life applications of the physical concepts studied. We identify the characteristics that define meaningful learning during the development of the task and analyze the advantages and problems related to the use of web 2.0 applications and internet as learning tools.
